Chad Chesnut's Biography

I am ACO Pro Chad Chesnut from the Mid-Atlantic Conference and this is how I became a professional cornhole player for the American Cornhole Organization. I started playing in my yard with friends in 2007, and also started making homemade boards. I stopped playing after two years and in 2016 Third Heighter told me about a group that played in my town that I wasn't aware of, so I showed up to give it a try. The group then told me that corn bags are out, and a two sided bag is what is used. I learned more about competitive cornhole from Toby Smith in Roanoke when I visited for their weekly blind draw. The talent level was amazing and I knew that I had a ton of work to put in but decided that I would try my best to get better even though I knew it would take a long time. I started playing with the ACO regionals in season 12 and won very few games, but seen improvement and kept at it.

Cornhole Achievements:

  • Five Regional wins in Singles, Season 14
  • Finished 24th in Singles for Season 14
  • 5th, 7th, 9th, 17th, and 33rd in Singles at Majors in Season 14
  • Went to 6 ACO majors and never made it out of a mini pool, but didn't quit, Season 13
  • Me and my brother finished 3rd in the mid Atlantic Conference Season 13
  • 49th at Worlds earning pro status in Montgomery Alabama Season 13
