  • Roll Shot – A skilled shot where the bag flips or rolls over an opponent’s blocker.
  • Bounce Shot – A bag that lands and bounces over opponents bags, similar to a roll but the bag stays flat
  • Cut – A technique where the bag spins sideways to maneuver around an opponent’s blocker.
  • Reverse Cut – a cut shot thrown from the opposite side of the board
  • Drag – An airmail shot that drags another bag into the hole.
  • Bully Bag – A powerful shot that aggressively pushes an opponent’s bag out of scoring position.
  • Penguin – When a player grabs a “back blocking” bag, jumping over the opponents bag and putting both of their bags in the hole.
  • Bar of Soap – When a bag is sitting on top of another bag and the player collects the bottom bag and pushes the top bag off the board
  • And 1 – When a player throws an airmail and “kicks” the opponents bag off the board
  • Push Shot – A throw designed to push another bag (yours or your opponent’s) into the hole.
  • Floor Bagger – When a player has more bags on the floor than the board
  • Bagnet – Bag that lands on front of board and every other bag thrown after that, hits it.
  • Wash – When you and you opponent throw the same amount of points for the round, no one scores
  • Front Board – When a player throws a bag that lands in front of the board
