Playing Style and Bags
Hodet’s nickname started as his Scoreholio handle at local league nights. Back then, he was known for trying the roll shot from almost anywhere on the board. It’s still his trademark: a bag that lands short, rolls over the front of the board and drops in. He’s just as known for his mental game. As he puts it: “This sport is 90 percent mental and 10 percent physical.”
He’s sponsored by Brotherhood Cornhole, an ACL-licensed bag maker, and throws [bag model, confirm].

Background
Cornhole runs in the Hodet family. Colin learned the game from his father, Dave, one of Vermont’s top players, and his mom, Linda, and brother, Cameron, play too. He dreamed of going pro “since I was a freshman in high school.” He came close at the 2023 Worlds and broke through in 2024, then climbed all the way to #2 in the ACL Pro Singles standings in his first full pro season. For Hodet, cornhole is about more than competition: it’s about the friendships and community the game creates. His goal hasn’t changed: “I want to be the number one player in the world.”
