What Are ACO Events (Majors)?
ACO events called Majors are the main tournaments of the ACO season. They’re usually 2-day events, they’re open to every skill level, and they’re the primary way to earn World Ranking points toward the ACO World Championships (Worlds 22), held the last full week of July 2027. ACO Regionals and Conference Championships also award points throughout the season.

Season 22 Entry Fees & Membership
To play any points-earning division at a Major, you need an ACO membership. There are two options this season:
- Starter Membership (free): You can compete and win trophies, but you pay full retail entry fees and aren’t eligible for prize money or prize jerseys.
- World Membership ($60): 37.5% off every Major entry, plus eligibility for prize money, purple prize jerseys, and World Rankings.

If you plan to play more than one or two Majors, the World Membership pays for itself fast — two Singles entries alone save you $60.
Registration opens on each event’s page at americancornhole.com and closes 30 minutes before the tournament starts, as space allows. ACO ticket sales are final, so double-check your division before you buy.
How Majors Points Count Toward Worlds

Get Ready for Your Next ACO Event
- Make sure your bags are ACO-approved. Sanctioned play requires bags on the ACO approved list. Shop ACO-approved Big Daddy bags.

ACO Events FAQ
When are the 2027 ACO World Championships? Worlds 22 takes place the last full week of July 2027.
Can I play in ACO events without a membership? Yes, in Blind Draw Quads, which is open to anyone. All points-earning divisions require a Starter or World Membership.
Are ACO Majors only for pros? No. Majors are open to all skill levels, and Premier/Challenger tiers in Seniors, Womens, and Juniors help keep competition balanced.
How long is an ACO Major? Most are two days (Friday–Saturday). The Owensboro Super Major runs three days over New Year’s.
